At our school, we are dedicated to fostering the spiritual growth of our students through engaging and meaningful instruction. Recently, Interim Head of School, Doug Modic, launched the 2025-26 chapel series with “An Ambassador Is A Disciple,” focusing on the biblical passage from Matthew 4:18-22. This message emphasized the importance of being true disciples of Jesus Christ and what it means to represent Him as ambassadors in our daily lives. By exploring the call to follow Jesus, we encourage our students to reflect on their personal faith journeys and the transformative power of a relationship with Christ.
The message highlighted three key aspects of being an ambassador: being changed by God, being conformed to the image of Christ, and being commissioned to share the Gospel. The speaker drew parallels between sports and faith, illustrating how true discipleship goes beyond mere appearances or knowledge. Just as athletes must actively participate in their sport, Christians are called to live out their faith authentically and share the hope they have in Jesus with others. This call to action is essential for fostering a vibrant Christian community within our school.
We encourage all of the Agape family and community to listen and grow together.
The foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
