At Agape, we understand that middle school students need both academic challenge and spiritual guidance as they navigate this important transition period. Small class sizes allow teachers to provide personalized attention during these crucial years when students are developing independence and discovering their unique gifts and talents. Our experienced faculty creates a supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually while preparing for the increased responsibilities of high school. Middle school students also have opportunities to participate in our Ambassador athletics program, including volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, and cross country for grades 7-8.

Middle school at Agape Christian Academy represents a pivotal time in your child's educational journey, where academic rigor meets the unique developmental needs of students in grades 5-8. Located at our Troy Campus alongside our high school students, middle schoolers benefit from a more mature learning environment while receiving age-appropriate instruction that builds strong foundations for high school success. Our program utilizes proven A Beka and Bob Jones curriculum with biblical worldview integration across all subjects, ensuring students develop critical thinking skills while growing in their faith.

History

Agape history curriculum provides students with a realistic, Scripture-based view of history that rejects secular conflict theory in favor of truthful, uplifting portrayals of peoples and events, presenting government as God-ordained and free-enterprise economics without apology while instilling intelligent pride for country and traditional values.

Mathematics

Agape mathematics curriculum teaches students that mathematics is the language God used in creation, providing traditional texts that emphasize absolute mathematical laws rather than modern relative theories, training students in essential skills while helping them see mathematics as part of God's truth and order built into the universe.

Science/Health

Our science curriculum approaches the natural world through biblical theism, teaching students that empirical investigation reveals consistent, logical patterns established by an intelligent Creator. Rather than viewing faith and science as opposing forces, we emphasize rigorous scientific methodology while interpreting data through a biblical framework, developing critical thinking and scientific literacy as students explore God's handiwork.

English

Our English language arts program emphasizes rigorous instruction in grammar, spelling, vocabulary, composition, and literature through systematic teaching that aims at mastery. Unlike programs that embrace relativism, we believe language has structure and standards, which is why students engage with quality literature while developing the skills needed to communicate clearly and persuasively.
