Saturday, November 1, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m. | New Promise Church. We’re gearing up for our 21st Annual Autumn Auction, an unforgettable night featuring Live, Silent, and Chinese Auctions to raise funds for Christ-centered education for nearly 300 students across our Burton and Troy campuses. This year’s goal is $100,000 and we need your help to achieve it. Please prayerfully peruse the following and see how your family can help our bigger family!
It’s a great night with good food, lots of fun items, fellowship and laughter. You will be encouraged and have the satisfaction of blessing many through your support. Tickets are available online or by calling the Burton campus directly. A ticket includes a great Italian buffet by Vinny’s of Middlefield and endless desserts!
Local businesses love supporting community nonprofits. Think of the businesses you support with your dollars and ask them if they’d like to donate an item, service, or experience. Get a few copies of our donation ask letter for while you are on your rounds over the next few weeks and just ask what they might be willing to do. It’s a tax deductible donation for them and a great help to our community. Business ideas: your salon, pet groomer, favorite restaurant, market, etc. If you like supporting them, chances are everyone would love an opportunity to bid on one of their items!
After you give them a few days to decide, check back and offer to come get the item. When you are ready to drop off the item or gift certificate to your campus, fill out the donor form, and return it with the donation.
If you are stumped on who to ask, reach out to the Burton office and they will give you a list of businesses who have donated in the past.
Reach out to your friends, family, and coworkers! High School students have an opportunity to sell tickets, and other families can too. Raffle winner gets a $1,000 VISA Gift Card. $5 per ticket or a book of 5 tickets for $20. (Do not need to be present to win.) Contact either campus office to pick up some books. (All ticket stubs and money must be back to the office by Monday, October 27th.
Some of the most popular auction items are the one of a kind experience items. Got a special talent that you are willing to share with our school? Transform it into a biddable item! Donate a home cooked dinner party, a basketball skills session, 3 hours of landscaping, ice cream party for a class, sourdough tutoring, etc.
Create your own basket with some special items you know a teen would love, a movie night at home, a great art set, hunting gear, or basket filled with gift cards. Get together with some friends and create or seek out a high value item such as loge tickets to a Browns game, dinner and theater tickets, a vacation rental, or an all inclusive spa day.
All of these ideas also need a completed donation form so we can properly describe them in the program.
* Please be mindful when collecting donation items, ie., we will not use anything offensive, inappropriate, or anything you really ought to recycle. *
Willing hands and backs make light work! We need different crews to make this event run smoothly. Click here to sign up.

The foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
