Tuition Information

At Agape Christian Academy, we believe that a high-quality, God-centered education should be attainable for every family. We work hard to bridge the gap between the total cost of education and what a family can realistically pay.

2026-27 Tuition & Fees

The table below shows Agape's total cost of education and the Agape Advantage — the most you will pay out of pocket per student.
Grade Level What You'll Pay* Book Fee
K–8th Grade $0 – $4,950 $250
9th–12th Grade $0 – $6,050 $300

* Your exact tuition depends on your EdChoice Expansion Scholarship award, which is based on your household income and family size.

How the Agape Advantage Works (Max-Out-Of-Pocket)
The Agape Advantage is our commitment to every Agape family: there is a cap on what you will pay out of pocket per student. For the 2026-27 school year, the cap after all scholarships is $4,950 for grades K-8 and $6,050 for grades 9-12, regardless of which scholarship your student participates in. This does not include book fees or the application fee.

About EdChoice Expansion
EdChoice Expansion awards are based on family size and income relative to the federal poverty level. Award amounts range from $616 to $6,166 for grades K-8, and from $841 to $8,408 for grades 9-12. All families, regardless of income, qualify for at least the minimum award. To see your estimated scholarship, click here

State Scholarship Note
In Ohio, only one state scholarship can be awarded per student at a time. If your child is enrolled in the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship or the Autism Scholarship, they cannot participate in EdChoice, and vice versa. If you're unsure which scholarship fits your family best, our admissions team is happy to help.

One-Time Fees:
Application Fee: $100.00 per student (Non-refundable, due with application).

Full Tuition without Ohio EdChoice Scholarship or other Financial Aid:

K-8th: $8,166 | 9th-12th: $10,408

All families should qualify for some level of financial aid.

Path to Chartered Status: Our Progress

Agape Christian Academy is currently in the formal process of seeking Chartered Non-Public Status for the 2026-2027 school year.

What this means for you:

  • Scholarship Access: Achieving chartered status is the key step that allows our families to access the full Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.

  • Our Commitment: We are working closely with the Ohio Department of Education to meet all requirements. While we cannot guarantee the timeline of state approval, we will keep all families updated as we move through the final stages.

How we lower costs

Financial Aid

1. Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship

Agape Christian Academy is currently in the formal process of becoming a Chartered Non-Public School for the 2026-2027 school year. This important step will allow our families to participate in the Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship program. This state-funded program is designed to assist families with the cost of private education, and every K-12 student in the state of Ohio is eligible to apply for an award based on their household income.

  • Eligibility: Once our charter is finalized, all K-12 students at ACA can apply.

  • Deadline: The state application window typically opens February 1st.

  • Support: Our admissions office is available to help you navigate the paperwork required for this program.

2. OCEN SGO Scholarship

Students enrolled in our Kindergarten through 12th-grade programs are also eligible to apply for a scholarship through the Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO).

These scholarships are unique because they are funded through the generous, tax-deductible gifts of our own school community and supporters. While all students are encouraged to apply, awards are prioritized based on demonstrated financial need. These funds are a key part of how we ensure no family pays more than their Max Out-of-Pocket limit.

  • Priority: Awards are given to students with the greatest financial need.

  • Application: Families can apply through the OCEN website during the designated scholarship window.

3. The "Agape Advantage"

We understand that the cost of private education is a significant decision for any family. Our goal is to use every tool available - from state scholarships to SGO funds to financial aid - to keep your costs manageable. By combining these programs, we are able to offer a Max Out-of-Pocket amount per student:

  • K-8 Students: You will not pay more than $4,950.00 per student in tuition after EdChoice, SGO, and financial aid in the 2026-27 school year.

  • 9-12 Students: You will not pay more than $6,050.00 per student in tuition after EdChoice, SGO, and financial aid in the 2026-27 school year.

(Note: These maximums apply to tuition only; book fees and application fees remain the responsibility of the family.)
