Agape Christian Academy, located in Burton, Ohio, was founded in 2005 by eight families committed to non-denominational Christian education. Now serving 280 students from over 150 families across two campuses, Agape is entering a new chapter following the retirement of its founding president, Susan Gifford, at the end of the 2024/25 school year. The Agape Christian Board is seeking a Head of School who will build on this legacy and lead the academy into a new era of Christ-centered excellence.

The Process

1. Initial Screening
   The search team will review applications to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and demonstrate alignment with the school’s mission.
2. Interviews
   Selected candidates will participate in initial interviews (virtual or in-person), followed by finalist interviews with the Agape Christian Board.
3. Reference and Background Checks
   Finalists will undergo thorough reference and background checks.
4. Offer and Onboarding
   The Agape Christian Board will extend an offer to the selected candidate, followed by a comprehensive onboarding process.
